This 14w, American designed, solar panel charger, with built-in 3700mAh battery, like all our other power banks, can also be charged from the mains USB and has a very efficient (22%) flexible solar panel to charge its own battery (or boost what you are charging) in any direct sunlight.
The inbuilt battery is large enough to give an iPhone 5 around 2 + full charges, even without any help from the solar panel. The Solar panel is able to both direct charge a phone and top up the battery at the same time.
In common with all our solar chargers, it is UV light (cloudy or sunny) that provides the charge, length of time is more important than intensity.
NB windscreens cut out most UV light, other glass not as much.
